Mr. Sidden has over 35 years of textile industry experience, joining Unifi over 25 years ago. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Transformation and Digitization and has been the Company’s Chief Information Officer since 2007. In this capacity, Mr. Sidden oversees the Unifi’s fulfillment and information technology functions, and he directs the development of transformative processes to improve Company efficiencies. Previously, Mr. Sidden held various manufacturing and digital/information technology leadership roles with companies, including: Ithaca Industries, Tultex Corporation, Sara Lee Knit Products / Hanesbrands (NYSE: HBI), and Remington Arms.

Mr. Sidden received a B.S. in Computer Science from Appalachian State University along with an M.B.A. from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University.

The Unifi Story

The roots of the Unifi story actually began before the birth of the company's founder, George Allen Mebane IV, who was born in 1929 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
