Chief Executive Officer and Director

Edmund ("Eddie") Ingle is Chief Executive Officer and Director of UNIFI® and a member of the Company’s Board of Directors.

Eddie has over 30 years of experience with UNIFI, beginning his career at UNIFI's operations in Letterkenny, Ireland, in 1986 as a mechanical engineer. In 1991, he moved to work for UNIFI in the U.S. as Industrial Engineering Manager. He has held numerous leadership positions, including Director of Global Procurement, General Manager of Nylon, Vice President of Supply Chain, Vice President of Global Corporate Sustainability, and General Manager of Flake & Chip.

From 2018-2020, as CEO & Chairman of Wellman International and CEO of Indorama’s Recycling Group, Eddie led one of the world’s largest producers of PET resins and Europe’s largest PET recycler.

Eddie is a global expert in the fields of sustainable technology and performance textiles and is leading innovations in the scaling of textile-to-textile circularity.
