Sohan Mangaldas is Senior Vice President of Strategy, Global Procurement, and Supply Chain at UNIFI^®, a role he has held since 2019. He is responsible for all aspects of UNIFI’s material purchases and supply chain, drives resin and flake business growth and leads corporate sustainability, government relations, and trade compliance.  Additionally, he supports and plays a key role in the development of UNIFI’s long-term strategic plan and growth initiatives.   

Sohan began his career at UNIFI in 1998 and has held multiple leadership roles in areas including strategic planning, business development, procurement, financial planning and analysis, information technology, and systems and market research. He previously served as Vice President of Supply Chain, Pricing Strategy, and Global Market Intelligence.

Prior to UNIFI, Sohan was a Business Analyst at VF Corporation, one of the world’s largest apparel, footwear, and accessories companies.

Sohan has served on the Industry Advisory Board for the Wilson College of Textiles, North Carolina State University.

Sohan received his MBA and Post-Masters Management Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Sri Ramakrishna College, Coimbatore, India.
