Mr. Sigmon is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of UNIFI, positions he has held since 2020. In his role, Mr. Sigmon is a strategic advisor to the Company's other Executive Officers and its Board of Directors, and he serves as the chief legal officer of UNIFI, overseeing all aspects of the Company's legal affairs, including: corporate governance, securities disclosures, transactional matters, intellectual property preservation, litigation, and general corporate compliance, among others.

Before joining UNIFI, Mr. Sigmon most recently served as Vice President in the legal department of BB&T Corporation (now Truist Financial Corporation) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he was a graduate of that company's Leadership Development Program.

Mr. Sigmon received his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law, during which time he worked as an Honors Program Extern at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. He received his undergraduate degrees in Economics from the University of North Carolina and in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Mr. Sigmon is a member of the North Carolina State Bar.

The Unifi Story

The roots of the Unifi story actually began before the birth of the company's founder, George Allen Mebane IV, who was born in 1929 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
