Mr. Moore is an experienced senior officer who has been involved in the chemical fiber, textile, and apparel industries since first joining UNIFI in 1993. He initially gained experience in the Company’s quality control and industrial engineering operations, including serving as the director of UNIFI’s Six Sigma program, before moving into sales and upper management for the Company. In 2002 Mr. Moore led UNIFI’s entry into Asia and oversaw the development and expansion of the Company’s Asian textured yarn market, which culminated in his role as President of Unifi Asia.

After leaving UNIFI to transform manufacturing and sales operations for several private equity-backed fashion and apparel companies throughout Asia and Europe—including those serving the luxury, jeanswear, babywear, workwear, sportswear, and apparel trim markets—Mr. Moore returned to UNIFI in 2020. In his current role as Senior Vice President of Direct Sales and Operations, he leads the Company’s direct sales and manufacturing business units in both North and Central America.

Mr. Moore is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in economics and holds an MBA in textile and apparel marketing from Philadelphia University.
