At UNIFI®, we don't just want you to take our word for it. The sustainability and environmental impact of our products is third-party certified.

We share our vertically integrated recycling process from start to finish, how products are made, as well as their social and environmental impact, to empower our consumers in their decision-making. With the support of multiple third-party certifications on our products and processes, we don’t expect you to just take our word for it.

U-Trust® Verification

Trust what you get from us

Sustainable and transparent, by design. We offer U-TRUST verification to products made with REPREVE®, in order to certify recycled content claims. Using our unique FiberPrint® tracer technology, we test fibers at any point in the supply chain, from resin, to yarn, to fabric, to verify the use of REPREVE. We believe an informed consumer is an empowered consumer.

Global Tracking

We value transparency in all that we do. The Global Recycle Standard (GRS), based on tracking and tracing recycled content, as well as assurance of environmental and social best practices in production, additionally attests to the high-quality of our supply chain and final products.

Recycled Content Certification

Many of our REPREVE products are certified by SCS Global Services. Each year, our REPREVE products, as well as our recycled processes, production records, and operations, are audited by SCS Global Services to obtain our SCS Recycled Content Certifications. This third-party assurance ensures that our customers, and the consumer, can feel confident in knowing that REPREVE is using waste to create something great.

OEKO-TEX® Certification

Confidence in Textiles

To ensure the wellbeing of our consumers as well as the planet, REPREVE is also the recipient of the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label. This certification qualifies that our yarns are free of harmful levels of more than 100 restricted chemicals. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is currently the world’s leading label for textiles screened for harmful substances.

REPREVE Our Ocean®

OceanCycle is a social enterprise focused on preventing ocean plastic pollution and improving livelihoods in coastal communities through certification and direct social interventions. We use OceanCycle to help certify the recycled plastic bottle for our REPREVE Our Ocean products.
